How does cloud save work?
If you're signed into iCloud on your Vision Pro, your Campaign progress is backed up automatically. There's nothing to turn on in the game..
When does the game download my save from iCloud?
The game downloads your iCloud save only after a fresh install, when there is no local save on the device. After that, the game uses your local save and uploads progress to iCloud as you play.
I see a warning that my progress isn't being saved to iCloud. What does it mean?
This means your Vision Pro is either not signed in to iCloud, or cannot reach iCloud at the moment. Your progress is still saved locally on this device, but it is not syncing to iCloud. This means it will not appear on other Vision Pros and may not be recoverable if the device is lost, erased, or reset.
To fix this, go to Settings → Apple ID → iCloud, make sure iCloud Drive is turned on, connect to Wi-Fi, then relaunch Spatial Ops.
If I delete and reinstall Spatial Ops, will I lose my progress?
In most cases, no. Your progress should come back automatically after reinstalling.
The two exceptions are:
- You erased or factory reset the Vision Pro before reinstalling.
- You are signed in to a different Apple ID than the one you originally played on.
Will my progress sync across multiple Vision Pros?
Yes, as long as both Vision Pros are signed in to the same Apple ID and are connected to the internet. When launching the game, stay on the title screen for a few seconds to allow the latest save to sync.
What if two Vision Pros are signed into the same Apple ID?
Each headset keeps its own local progress and uploads to iCloud after each save. iCloud uses the most recently uploaded save. Saves do not merge or live-sync, so progress made on one headset may not appear on another headset if both already have existing local saves. We recommend playing the campaign on one headset at a time.
